Marco Campomaggi has broken the rules. He wanted to go different. He decided to use military print motifs in his leather bag collection and keep it for (men’s and women’s). His collection is called Campomaggi. He started his collection since 1980. He got inspired by his father who was a sculptor. He always brings a vintage touch to all his collection. He plays with details creating a unique one of a kind statement.
In his new Campomaggi bag collection it appears as if he is adopting the theme of women dressing with a masculine agenda by adding bags with the signature distressed leather and adding a camouflage motif. The leather is dyed in a fantastic way. The bags have a vintage wrinkle effect inside out and completed with a print military motif over the distressed skin with a base dark color. Crossbody Bag is a perfect example, he takes an innocuous tote and adds the
military look together with the classic distressed leather look. Another example is the backpack or shoulder tote from Campomaggi with a top handle and two canvas shoulder straps.
