What's not to like with Campomaggi? Leather Briefcase with lock

Campomaggi has made a name for itself in the most elite of markets with its signature distressed leather look in rich earthy colors such as cognac, tobacco and dark brown.  The fact that no two bags will ever look exactly alike is one the intrinsic qualities about Campomaggi that make it so special.  The other interesting point is the leather which almost  seems as if you taken the chaps off of John Wayne and used them to make fashion defining designs for  carry ons, travel bags and business briefcases.

Pro’s:  Unique distressed leather look, large inner compartment, several organizing pockets on the outside, sturdy leather supports heavy usage and travelling with this bag, inside zip pocket will comfortably hold a Netbook or iPad

Con’s:   Heavy bag at 2.5 kg (approximately 5.5 lbs), interior measurements are not standardized, in the beginning of wear the color may rub off to lighter colored clothing – this is only temporary

What I liked best about the bag:  The rustic almost western look about the bag, the way the leather has personality in this distressed look.  Even though it is a heavier bag it has two carrying options, this together with the rustic leather means it will withstand being dragged around from airport to airport.

What I liked least about the bag:  Since the buckles on the outside are functional and not just decorative, I find them nice to look at but they a bit of work to open and close – I probably wouldn’t be using them all the time.  I like the fact that my iPad fits in the inside pocket, but it doesn’t seem very protected from outside bumps.
