The new addition to Florence’s Holiday Decor

Just a quick photo of the beautiful new addition to the holiday decorations in Florence Italy. Located outside of the Duomo – this almost life size nativity scene is beautiful in its simplicity.

and this is my new design at the house – set on three levels, and for those of you who are wondering the blue stuff on the left is supposed to be a river which turns into a waterfall in the shepherds pasture….have a little bit of imagination! :

Vintage bag Revival for men in 2012

Changing the leather – but keeping trusted styles on line.  For years Pierotucci based its production on a few simple yet elegant styles for men and women.  However in the last few years they have played around with more modern and “trendy” styles for the market such as the Fortunata and Birkin inspired ladies handbag – each with much success.  But Piero, the owner of Pierotucci, has felt the need to revive some of those styles that have always been a strong part of our Tucci  men’s line.

He hasn’t changed one stitch in the old styles – but he has seen fit to recreate these bags with a more precious leather: a  soft embossed leather in deep rich earth tones.  Black, dark brown and color terra now make up part of the collection for a series of Tucci mens messenger bags, document clutches and cross body bags.  This leather is soft and flexible yet rigid enough to maintain its shape and protect your private possessions.  The soft embossed leather, called buffalo in Italian, has a pebbly pattern embossed into the leather making it more scratch resistant and excellent for constant use.
