What do clams, mud pies and Fortunata have in common?


tidal pools in koreathe tidal flats of South Jeolla Province.  Located in South Korea, Muang the tidal flats make up part of a project for the  preservation of the marine ecosystem represented in the continental shelf of the “Yellow Sea Ecoregion Support Project”.

The tidal flats project works to

  • Breathe life into the Visitor Center
  • Promote the “Cultural Festival Muang flats”
  • Reaffirm the grace of tidal flats to support life
  • Encourage  evening tours of the first tidal flats
