What’s cooking today at Pierotucci in Tuscany Italy?

Today we have Marco working on cutting the pieces for one of our Campo dei Fiori messenger bag models. These Italian leather handbags are made from lambskin which has been digitally printed with our unique “Campo dei Fiori” design in pastel colors, accented with a tobacco colored vachetta leather. Above you can see Marco manually cutting the front panel of the bag. The pieces of leather that are used for these bags are considerable smaller and thus are cut by hand in order to assure that we utilize the each piece to the max and minimize the waste. He will also make sure that each piece is not cut too close to the edges where the leather will tend to be thinner thus putting the quality of the entire bag at risk.
