Italian Designer Bling from Florence Italy
Posted by Pierotucci in FORTUNATA, Guest Writer on September 30, 2012
So one of my favorite new additions to the Fortuanta designer handbag collection is shiny on the outside and wild on the inside, is limited to 5 pieces and goes with absolutely nothing in my closet! Well maybe there would be this vintage inspired brown Italian leather jacket . . . what do you think?
But then who said handbags have to “go” with something. I mean, have you ever just looked at a bag and said . . . YES, that would be so much fun! In my case, this would be the bag. Out on the shelves this week, I will be curious to see just how long it takes before we sell the last one.
Women bring light and laughter into the world

Yellow couldn’t be a better color as representative of the Festa della Donna here in in Italy. The blossoming of the Mimosa plant (not to be confused with the drink… however if you really want too, you can interchange them and I won’t complain!) is the traditional gift to the women – this goes for the Mom, the Wife, daughters, co-workers and friends. Women are traditionally seen as bring life, laughter and joy into the world and yellow reflects the freshness of this idea. Today I played with color and feminine fancy to bring together some fun yellow ideas.

Not that I am a fashionista that gets all excited about the new colors and styles, but this outfit is definitely on my wish list from Chanel:
These colors would be a perfect match to the new Cosci handbag we just put on line:
or the lovely dusty pastels in this shagreen calfskin bag by FORTUNATA:
Which do you think is a better match to my dream Chanel outfit?
Help in finding the perfect fit in your leather jacket

My size is the most common wearable size by women in jackets or a blazer. Who cares about this? if I can’t get the perfect fit. When it is time to get a new outfit for my job, I get so frustrated and disappointed about it. I feel I’m loosing my time over this. It shouldn’t be like that. Shopping is an enjoyable experience that we all should have. Jackets are very difficult to fit right. Sizes and cut will vary depend on your body shape.
How to get the perfect fit? when you shop for a jacket/blazer, There are a few tips to keep in mind. First, you have to know your size and body shape. Go to the store and try a few fitted jackets. Fitted jackets work perfectly as a “shaper.” It will accentuate better the body curves. Much like the cropped jacket. The jacket can’t be tight around the chest or pulling from the side. The sleeves shoulders have to be on your armhole. Make sure to get something with small shoulder pad. It will give more definition to your upper body and your posture will be straight. If the jacket length is below or on the hip, it needs to be a least half inch bigger around the hip. If the jacket is too tight in this zone, it will create tension to the zipper/buttons and a puff air shape on your upper back. It is not right!. The jacket has to be loose and fall nice over your body.
