Even with cloudy skies we are still a favorite stop in #Tuscany

We are busy this morning! A bus load of happy shoppers have already visited our artisans on a leather #excursion this morning to watch as we sew together our #leatherhandbags.

Pierotucci opens its leather workshop to those curious about the traditional methods of cutting and assembling Italian leather handbags, wallets, belts and accessories and offers tours in English and Japanese (upon request). Visitors are encouraged to walk through and talk to the artisans, asking questions while they work.  Our doors have been open to the public since Pierotucci began making their own designs such as Toscanella, Pierotucci, Royal Highness and FORTUNATA.  It is possible to watch every step of the way from the delivery of the leather, the cutting of the handbags, the preparation of the leather panels and the assembly as well as sewing.

Italian Leather Handbag excursion in Tuscany

and of course, what experience would be complete without the option to purchase one of these quality handmade Italian leather handbags? The Pierotucci store is attached to the artisan workshop and proudly displays not only genuine Italian leather wallets, messenger bags (like the one being sewn above) and belts but also top name Italian leather designers such as Campomaggi Bags, Caterina Lucchi and Braccialini.
