My constant travelling companion always has a chuckle when I inadvertently walk right into a parked car. Which it appears I do frequently enough when I am roaming about the cobble stoned roads of any one of the absolutely day-dreamy medieval towns throughout Tuscany.
The only time I will drop my eyes is when I have to rummage through my oversized Italian leather handbag to find my camera so I can snatch a shot of a little detail that has caught my imagination. For example, this carved piece found over one of the many churches in Lucca.
And I will admit sometimes I look back at my photos and once they are taken out of context that might not have the same appeal . . . or they didn’t catch that moment of awe. But then sometimes . . . you get just the perfect shot.
What do you think of this little jewel from Lucca?
